For the past 17 years we have been constantly researching Bugs. We follow the latest industry best practices and put them to the test in our own 1,200 sq. ft. lab.

Our Leadership.

Eric Flynn is the founder of Discreet Extermination. Eric is a Associate Certified Entomologist and can be found studying Bed Bugs and Bat Bugs at our lab in his free time.

Eric is a father of 4. When he is not chasing bugs, he is chasing kids! Eric is personally responsible for over 1 million dead bugs throughout Chemung County.

Eric has published 6 books on the subject of Bed Bugs and General Pest Management in addition to contributed to a number of others.

Eric is currently the board chairman of the NYS Bed Bug Association after being the president for the past 7 years. He is also a founding member of the NYS Bed Bug Taskforce.

In addition to exterminations, Eric provides onsite consulting and training to schools, businesses, and municipalities throughout the state.

Due to high demand for online training due to COVID-19, Eric and Ashley created the Bed Bug Training Institute to provide online Bed Bed training.

Discreet Extermination is Elmira / Horseheads premier provider for all phases of outdoor insect control. Our flea, tick, and mosquito program provides monthly applications giving season long protection to our customers’ properties. Applications start in April and are conducted monthly through October.

Some persistent mosquito problems may require bi-monthly applications.

Certified technicians will spray all trees and shrubs as well as the entire lawn area. This includes the entire foundation, i.e. outdoor deck, areas around the pool house and anywhere insects might hide.
Only NY State DEC approved products with proven track records for efficacy and safety will be used.
